Here's why this system is so effective: (1) Corrosion-resistant 7-strand braided hardened steel aircraft cable. (2) Chrome-plated case-hardened steel links "armor plate" the entire cable. Case hardened to RC60 minimum. Interlocking links are flexible but as strong as a hardened steel bar and can't be drilled. (3) Removable protective black nylon mesh prevents scratches on links and bike. (4) Chrome-plated case-hardened steel head rotates 360� for easier locking. Hardened to RC60 minimum. 1-5/8" diam. at widest point. Can't be drilled. (5) 7-pin-tumbler circular-keyway lock in a case-hardened steel inner housing.
