This acrylic lacquer is the closest paint to chrome plating and polished aluminum. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PAINTING THE OUTSIDE SURFACES OF CHROME TRIM. Kosmic Kolor urethane enamel Solid colors may be applied over any of our SHIMRIN Universal Base Coats. Kosmic Kolor urethane enamel solid colors are mixed 2 parts paint to 1 part catalyst (8525ZP 001 PT) to 1 part RU series reducer (example: 8529ZP 001 QT). For extra flow-out add 3-6 oz additional reducer per mixed quart.
